Cary Café Cary Senior Center, 11:30 a.m. Join in the fun of lunch and fellowship monthly at the Cary Senior Center! Each person should bring a potluck dish. We'll provide the beverages and the paper products. Registration is required and ends a week prior to each event. Participate in Operation Sweet Tooth following the lunch. Dream of Expression Art Reception Page-Walker Arts & History Center, 7 p.m. An evening of music, food and art in celebration of the legacy left by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award winning photojournalist Bruce Roberts will open his exhibition, Just Yesterday in North Carolina, on display at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center from Jan 9 – Feb 25. Brazilian Soul will play in the main gallery. There will also be a community expo, which includes the work of local artists, public awareness displays by community partners, VIP reception and a presentation of Dream of Achievement Awards. Dream of Unity Ecumenical Observance Herbert C. Young Community Center, 6 p.m. Join local religious and secular leaders in remembering the life and cause of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event is open to persons of all faiths and beliefs.
